However, I shall swim 600 km between Stockholm and Gothenburg between 6 July and 15 August. The project's core values is "Clean Water" and the goal is to collect 600,000 SEK (SEK 1 / m) to WaterAid. The collected funds will be disbursed in full to go to WaterAid's activities in developing iservice countries iservice where clean drinking water and sanitation is a luxury that few luxury of enjoying. In Sweden, we take the pure water as an absolute matter of course but around iservice the world die, many people iservice every day who do not have adequate access to clean drinking water or sanitation facilities.
Gota Canal, as the article title refers to, is only a small part of the total distance. And certainly the lightest too. It's e.g. 18 mil away from central Stockholm to Göta Canal inlet in Mem / Söderköping. Personally, I think just the Baltic, Vättern and Vänern is the toughest and the thought of swimming there gives me some butterflies in my stomach :)
Read about the project at Sverigesimmets website. It will develop into both a collection portal but also a communications portal where daily reports, photos and videos will report on developments.
Well, maybe not entirely iservice clear as a bell :) WaterAid's be it!
Being free is nothing. Becoming free is everything. If voting.
