The Tracking Number, or tracking number, is a merchandise shipping code, and depending on the shipping method you can track all stages in passing the goods and know exactly where it is.
To track Courier you must have Tracking Number and enter the company website. For example, if your order is coming from FedEx is only you have the code and track for their own website. Recalling that the world's leading Courier are FedEx, UPS and DHL.
To track orders that are coming by postal service is necessary to know the country of origin of the goods. Here in Brazil postal reporter our postal service is called Post Office, and each country has a specific name. When the merchandise postal reporter is coming by postal service be it the US, China, Brazil or any other country it has a standard for the Tracking Number: consists of two letters, numbers nine and finished off by the last two letters. The first two letters represent the category of circulation, postal reporter are numerous categories, postal reporter then we list the main ones. Code CV means International Parcel Priority Mail, and the last two letters (US) means United States of America. Then I use two sites that monitor for me orders, and send me emails so there is movement in commodities.
The first is the Muambator (here). There you can register the Tracking Numbers postal reporter and expects the emails. The good is that it shows you the country postal reporter of origin of the order, and possibly packages taxed on Brazilian soil are with a dollar sign (the site never wrong, saw dollar side of the order can bet that was taxed).
I realized I have a lot related to this subject, so soon I will make a post explaining all the way and steps of an international postal reporter order, since it is important to know the hell that orders are to reach the recipient.
