Very good post! I once did a poll on my blog to find out who else read, bloggers and non-bloggers.

Where best practices you relied to properly structure your content? Usability? SEO? What is the behavior of users when browsing the internet oca sites? It is possible to believe that the text can attract more than the picture? The banners are practically ignored in the network, no?
Through a device called oca EYE TRACKING is possible to understand the strength of the items on web pages. Basically this is what I would call a friendly oca map that monitors the human gaze behavior.
* Images taken from the internet - Google Images How to attract your attention? Most people, when browsing the internet, perform the focus of the look of a letter format oca "F". People oca first look at the upper corner of the page, then follow in zigzag pattern.
In the figure above shows the priority areas of a site. Red can be considered as more important and the green otherwise. Some people believe that the thesis of the TV could also be applied to the site: "The attention of the user on a web page happens like a TV! Give up the CENTER. "- In the picture above you can see that the opposite happens.
USER: The first reading occurs horizontally from end to end. Secondly is held another view also from left to right, but this time a little smaller. oca Finally a vertical movement that follows the shape of the letter F.
That is, if you / site, not on the first page, between the top 4 search results, as seen in the image above, attention to your link will be much lower. Hence the importance of quality oca SEO, and the correct structuring and thought of your website items. ARCHITECTURE OF INFORMATION

Very good post! I once did a poll on my blog to find out who else read, bloggers and non-bloggers. But what caught my attention in addition to the search result, was the fact that I was getting a lot of hits, but few votes. Had put the poll in the sidebar, right at the beginning. I decided to switch places and put the poll above the text of the post. Rained votes !! I tested several times by changing the position of the poll and had only votes consistent with the number of visits when she was above the post.
Hugs
Good posting Danilo, very good. Had noticed that many people only look at the first topics Google and nothing else. I did not know this to look like the letter F. It is interesting oca and important to us, we maintain websites and blogs, know this. Hugs.
